I use encryption desktop to mount what is in effect a virtual drive. I also use Box as cloud service utilising their Box Sync function to sync cloud and desktop for working files. This meant I had an encryted local copy of my work in case of theft/loss etc
I have just updated to v4 of Box Sync and this scheme will no longer work. Box will not recognise the Encrption volume when mounted as a valid file format. When I queried this with Box they say the new version does not work with a virtual drive and the only solution is to set up the Box Sync folder on the unencrypted main disc.(This was the explaination provided in their support channel)
Has anyone else done something similar and if so have they experienced the same issue? if so have they encountered a means of sorting this out from the Encryption side as this has rendered the encryption product unusable in my current approach.
Any help appreciated
