The document TECH174563 indicates that Mac OS 10.8.5 is supported in release 10.3.1:

However I have downloaded both 10.3.1 and 10.3.1 MP1 and the "Read me" document for both of these releases does NOT list 10.8.5 as supported:

I would like to confirm that I can in fact install whole disk encryption on a Mac OS 10.8.5 system - *running bootcamp* - using version 10.3.1 MP1.
Is this correct?
The documentation indicates that 10.3.1 supports boot camp, other than on OS 10.9, and 10.8.5 is listed by TECH174563 as supported. However I am a bit worried about the fact that neither the 10.3.1 nor the 10.3.1 MP1 releases actually include 10.8.5 in their list of supported OSes in their release notes.
