Webcast Summary:
Google recently announced their SHA-1 deprecation plan. According to this plan, Chrome version 39 and later will display visual security indicators on sites with SHA-1 SSL certificates expiring December 2015. Chrome 39 production version is expected to be available in November 2014. Users on affected sites will have a degraded UI experience that may lead to user confusion and/or concern regarding the trustworthiness and security of the site.
