SDE & System Reserved partition

Hi, I have a single SSD with a system reserved partition and a c: partition (Windows 7). I want to encrypt using SDE. I'm unsure whether this is going to work. I see this article:

But that is when the system reserved partition and c: partition are on different drives.

Is my situation supported by SDE 10.3 ?
