Back in 2011, we tried to standardize on PGP Desktop Professional for our MACs and Windows manchines. We started out with 10.1 for our Macs, and got up to 10.2.1 before the MAC OS development cycle began to outrun the PGP development cycle. Since PGP Desktop Professional had stopped functioning, and there seemed to be no hope in sight, we let our maintenance contract expire in 2013. In this day and age, it is hard to explain to auditors why you are paying for something that doesn't work...Fast forward to last month, when, lo and behold, I read that with the 10.3.2 MP5 release, PGP Desktop Professional finally works with Mavericks (we haven't made the move to Yosemite yet). So I call Symantec -- three times -- to see how we can get the 10.3.2 MP5 version. I have all our numbers, from Customer, to serial to license keys, etc. You can guess what happened: "I don't know.""I can't help you.""There is nothing I can do."
Does anybody out there know the answer to what I had thought was a very simple question?
