How to read old pgd disks in Yosemite?

Oui, j'ai besoin d'une solution

From comments in this forum, I gather that there is at least some form of PGP disk encryption for Macs. You sure couldn't tell that from the Symantec website, though. I haven't been able to find anything that says its for Mac.

But my real question is, is there any way to recover the content of old .pgd disk images on modern MacOS releases?

I used to use PGP Desktop (disk and email encryption) until some years ago when PGP announced that pgd disks wouldn't be readable in the at the time just-released MacOS version. It might have been 10.4, but I don't know.

I still have those .pgd images though, and now I think there's something in there I'd like to recover.

 Any suggestions, anyone?

I thought I might download the trial version of the appropriate Symantec Endpoint product, but again, those seem to be Windows-only. Sigh. No Windows in my house.
