We're on 12.1.1 and though testing went well, when I upgraded the office to 12.1.2 last year we got hit by the nasty network bug that affected XP and made the network very slow. Link here: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?pag...
Though a very difficult and slow process I got all of our machines rolled back to 12.1.1. I then skipped 12.1.3 and waited for 12.1.4. Well it's out now but I'm still seeing forum posts complaining of network speeds and firewall issues with 12.1.4. When are those issues going to be fixed so I can upgrade past 12.1.1? Since the problem only affected certain machines I can't rely on testing to tell me if this version is going to cause problems on our network or not, and the roll back procedure was so incredibly painful that I'm not about to risk having to do it again.
Anyone have any information that might help me out here? If Symantec has finally implemented a system that allows for automatically rolling an entire network back to a previous version that would be very helpful. Also, having the ability to delete the latest version from the endpoint manager would be nice too, since the latest version at that time was a very broken one that needed to be deleted.
