This might be a bit arcane, but we've got some clients that have gone out to Symantec LiveUpdate rather than downloading updates from our local management server. They don't do this consistently. There are only a handful of attempts from a very small number of clients that have done this. I'm wondering if it's possible that users have right-clicked on the shield and selected Update Policy manually. Does this cause the client to go out to LiveUpdate?
Our locations appear to be setup correctly as far as what's on the LAN and what's external, so I'm just looking for suggestions of what to check.
