Moving SMG 2012 H-V Cluster -> 2012R2 H-V Cluster

Hello All,

I have recently completed a total system upgrade and migration as well as several unpleasant and horrible tasks.

I am currently running 2 clusters

WS2012 2 Node (Old & Busted)

WS2012R2 4 Node (New & Shiny)

Old ws2012 cluster has only one role left on it, Symantec Gateway

I know it is not supported on a 2012R2 Cluster, but keeping 2 machines and a storage up just for SMG is not an option.

Has anyone tried to export/import SMG to a 2012R2 Hyper-V Cluster Before.

What are your experiences, Considering backwards compatibility of HyperV R2, I am convinced it will work but I need some confirmation.
