Hi,
While setting up file share encryption, I noticed that I if I select the Select Signer to the user who created the folder only that user can decrypt the contents of the folder ( I tried by copying the file outside of the encrypted folder and decrypting it).
In a shared folder scenario, another user (who has permission to read/write the files in the folder) tries to copy the file out and tries to decrypt it, he gets a permission error.
So, I tried setting the select signer to None and it seems to work. The user was able to decrypt the file after copying it outside.
So my question is, Is there any risk if I configure a encrypted shared folder and set the select signer to none? Does the folder encryption still work and protect the folder contents from other users who do not have permissions to view the contents of the folder?
