Symantec Protection Engine 7.1

Hi

One of our customer's uses Symantec Protection Engine (SPE) for NAS.

I have had a look at the SPE configuration the customer has & the policies as well as SPE documentation from Symantec, however I cannot seem to find anything in there about how often SPE scans a filer. There are no scheuled scan settings that I can see.

Does this mean it's constantly scanning a filer/s and once it finishes scanning all the files (where possible) it starts again from the start?

Any confirmation on the scanning frequency would be much appreciated.
