File scanning within compressed files

I am wondering regarding the ability of the Symantec Messaging Gateway to detect Executbles and Macro documents within archives.

1. Which file types the SMG is able to identify within compressed files (all files/only executbles and etc.)?

2. Which comprrssed file types the SMG able to scan their content (only ZIP/all files)?
