I would like verification from the community that the error I am getting while attempting to update laptops loaded with Windows XP and Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6000.550 is due to the fact that we have not updated to SEP 12. After the update is executed, the error is:
“Intelligent Updater session complete. All updates failed to install on the machine. For more details about the processing, please check the log file "Log.IntelligentUpdater.txt" created in the user's temporary directory.”
Opening SEP, the status is green and the AVDEF file is shown as the updated file.
Can anyone verify that I am correct with my assumption? Am I protected sufficiently? I will provide text from the log file if needed. THanks.
