Over the years, I had several time corruption or issues on my LUA that required tickets and/or reinstallation of the full software. Now my server has issues after I changed the SEPM version selection to download from 12.1 RU5 to RU6, reaching soon 140 Go of HDD demand! Whereas 60 Go was OK 6 months ago. Same parameters.
It would be great to have a function that would:
- delete the main download directory
- selectively delete distribution directories contents, without having manually to delete/recreate the DC
- clean up the temp directory and all directories above, to have a totally clean "like new" system.
With LUA DB aware of it and cleaned of course, which would solve all desynchronisation issues between DB and files on disk.
This is not totally like "https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/ideas/purge-now-button-liveupdate-administrator-2x", but rather a step farther.
