I am running scans on both a Windows VM and on a Linux Discover Scanner with the appropriate tunings done to them. The machine that the Linux scanner is on about 3x as powerful as the Windows VM yet it returns about the same results from scans.
Is Windows a much better choice for Discover Scanning than Linux?
In this Article from 2009 (http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/symantec-dl...) it says that Linux Discover processes are 1/3 slower than Windows. Does this still hold true on DLP 11.0?
