We had a case where the SEP client on a Windows 8.1 machine displayed an alert that "Proactive Threat Protection is malfunctioning . . .". The Manager, however, had absolutely no information regarding the problem. The information available showed the the client was operating normally in all functions. When a client component fails, the client record in the Manager should accurately record that failure. At present, we may have other clients having a problem, but unless it is observed on the client itself we have no way of knowing about it. This needs to be fixed in order to manage the product effectively and insure that all clients are functioning normally.
