SIC vShield vs Network Performance

Hi everyone !

I and my customer are deploying a Shared Inside Cache and we are wondering wether using vShield or not.

Are they differences in term of performance between SIC vShield and SIC Network ?

I looked a bit over the net but I wasn't able to find any documentation over SIC performance. Do Symantec has any detailled documentation about the performance gains between using SIC or not ?
